The little girl who had no one

When you work in this industry long enough you see alot of children from different backgrounds. There was one little girl in particular who had no one. Her mother and father had given her up to her grandmother, the grandmother then passed her to parent in the center that I worked at. This child was in the toddler and every parent that walked through the door she attached herself to leg and cried. This was the first time in my career that I had seen another human being who had no one. I didn't make the connection until later in my career because she had no one she attached to everyone. I ofter think about where this little girl is today.

This story broke my heart because it is very hard to see a child who has no one to take care of .In addition; it sends us a direct and clear message that working with children must be full of passion and emotion. We have to be prepared to deal with such cases and striving to reach to the level that would qualify us to treat them like real mother who loves her children.

It was really heart breaking to see. I think that there is a big difference between a mother who loves her child and someone who works with children. They have them for 99 years where we might have them for 1. I will never forget that girl though.
