My grandmother was a very important part of growing up. She was the one who taught me to always wear an undershirt under my shirt. That cheese and crackers were best eaten when you were in bed watching Dallas and how much fun a really big basement was with a big red piano. My grandmother is the reason that I am a teacher now.

I was very close to my grandmother as well. I called my grandmother "Mema". She taught me a lot of things and she fed me very well lol!! She died when I was 17 and it crushed me I thought my life was over. But, I know she watches over me and that comforts me!! Great web and the stories behind the pics are good too!!
